ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Claire H-G and I hold an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University and am a CELTA-qualified teacher. Previously, I worked as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, practicing in international law firms in the City for eight years and then advising the UK Cabinet Office as an independent lawyer.
However, I came to realise that how much pleasure I got from teaching the new trainee solicitors at the same time as realising that I love English in a way I would never love law. I decided that it was time to change career and I now specialize in tutoring English Language and Literature at GCSE and A-Level, offering personalized tuition, exam revision sessions, and support for entrance exams, including the 11+ and Common Entrance. I also teach English as a Foreign Language, with a speciality in business and legal English.
