"Claire is an experienced English tutor and helped my son preparing for his English literature GCSE. Compared to the predicted grade of 7 by his shcool the final one is 2 mark below 9. I would recommend her to everyone!"

"Because my daughter had ben concentrating on other subjects, she had let her English slide, and this led to some alarming grades in her mocks. With only a few weeks left before her GCSEs, Claire took her on and she made dramatic improvements. It is plain that Claire has a passionate commitment to helping her pupils to succeed."

"Claire immensely helped me in preparation for the English literature and language GCSEs. I would recommend her to all! "

"Heartfelt recommendation for a wonderful tutor. Finding a brilliant tutor is rare, but finding someone who remains a dedicated educator and mentor for over 6 years is truly special. Claire has guided both of our daughters through their English education with incredible skill and kindness. She has a remarkable ability to make challenging concepts easy to understand and always creates an encouraging environment where it is safe to make mistakes and learn. Our daughters moved from a mentality of "I can't do it, I suck at English, it is too hard" to " I know how to do that"."

"I would highly recommend Claire as a school tutor. She worked with my son with English and made a remarkable difference to his confidence, engagement, and progress. Claire has a wonderful ability to connect with children, adapting her teaching style to keep lessons interesting, enjoyable, and tailored to their individual needs. She quickly identified areas where my son needed additional support and explained concepts in a way that was easy for him to understand. Most importantly, she genuinely engaged him in learning and helped him build both his skills and his confidence. Her patience, encouragement, and dedication have had a lasting positive impact, and I would not hesitate to recommend her to other parents seeking a supportive and highly effective tutor."

"Claire is the most dedicated and loyal tutor we have ever known. She has tutored our 16-year-old for 8 months and has helped her beyond words can describe. We highly recommend this experienced and capable tutor! Claire sets homework, sends Lily home with specific tasks to re-practise, and works with her from our home, her home or Lily's school... she is dedicated to helping our daughter, who struggled to even get a pass. Lily is now 4 grades above! Thanks, Claire!!!"

"I first met Claire nearly two years ago when I was looking to improve my A-level English grade. I particularly appreciated her detailed approach to analysing poetry, as well as the useful feedback she gave me on essays and other written work. Thanks to Claire's help, I improved my English grade by two grades and am now studying History at Durham University."

"Claire is an exceptional tutor who has inspired my daughter beyond my expectations. My daughter Poppy was failing English Literature the year before her GCSE and was estimated a grade 4 (D) she had no love for the subject completely unenthused and had no understanding of planning or how to put her points across. I found Claire through the website Tutor Hunt, and a year on, Poppy has excelled with Claire's help. Poppy achieved a grade 8 (A*) in her GCSE and has decided to do English Literature as one of her A levels."

"Claire has been incredibly helpful with our son's 11+ preparation, building his confidence and improving his English skills. Claire quickly identified his weaknesses and kept working to help him improve. She is patient, supportive and explains everything clearly. We are very happy with Claire and would highly recommend her!
